Ever since I was six years old, I have read and collected comic books. The heroes from the stories I read taught me important lessons about life and encouraged me to be brave when facing new challenges. As I grew older I developed a fascination with comic book history. This interest in comic book history took me from a comic book enthusiast, to a memorabilia collector, then a comic book historian, which then led to my current on-air persona as a comic book expert. I am proud of the reputation I have developed, as I have been often consulted by collectors and comic books fans for my knowledge. I have also been recognized by companies such as Marvel, Screen Rant, Beckett, and the Comics Grading Company (CGC). My dream is to one day combine my passions for comic books and digital communications into a full time career.
The Heroes We See: In the Spring of 2022 I was approached by a team of local film makers who were entering a film contest. They wanted to create a documentary that would reveal the evolution of representation in comic books. I was interviewed as a comic book expert along side collectors, artists, authors, and cast members from the CW series Black Lightning.
